Alongside ballet, she trained in Lyrical, Jazz, Contemporary, & more. During the summer, she’d train at schools such as Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet & Northwest Dance Intensive. She has performed a variety of repertoire including the Nutcracker with Eugene Ballet Company and Don Quixote with SoCal Ballet Scene. As a teenager, she moved across the country to study full time at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Where she studied classical ballet under notable teachers including: Marcia Dale Weary, Amanda Edge, Melinda Howe, Nicholas Ade, & Frances Perez-Ball. After two years in Pennsylvania, Abby returned home to Washington. Here she discovered that her passion lies in teaching dance. She enjoys teaching all ages & skill levels. She strongly values relationship-building with students & teaching with developmentally appropriate practices. Growing up, the dance studio was always Abby’s safe & happy place, she strives to create the same positive and fun learning environment for the next generation of dancers.
