Dress code
all classes:
Dress code must be followed in order to participate in class. You wouldn't send your athlete to soccer without their shin guards, to football without their helmet, or to swim practice without their swimsuit. Therefore you also wouldn't send your dancer to dance in the incorrect attire.
-
Hair is to be pulled back and out of the face. The hair should not be a distraction.
-
No jeans in any classes.
-
No dresses or skirts in any classes unless they are athletic material and have shorts underneath or attached.
-
Loose shirts are allowed in certain classes. Dancers must be wearing something form-fitting underneath (I.e. a leotard, sports bra, or camisole).
-
Students are expected to have the correct dress code by their second class.

Ballet:
Hair must be in a neat bun. All ballet students Jr Intermediate level and above must wear a ballet hip alignment belt (See level colors below). Black leotard, pink tights & pink ballet shoes. Elite level may wear any color leotard desired.
Male ballet students should wear a white t-shirt, black dance pants/leggings, white socks, & black ballet shoes.

Acceptable warm-ups include ballet wrap sweaters and solid-colored leg warmers.

Hip Alignment Belts are a visual tool for allowing students to see if their hips are placed correctly while dancing. You can purchase these in our boutique.
